2008 was an extremely busy year for the City of Uhrichsville, Ohio. The City opened a new 18,000 square foot water park with great success. We were pleased to welcome visitors from all over Ohio, including Steubenville, Wintersville, Canton, Akron, and much more outside our County and visitors from outside Ohio. We look forward to opening the park in early-May for another great year of fun for the whole family.

Several other projects were completed including North Water Street which is a beautiful entrance to our City, South Water Street, and our Newport Storm Sewer project. Several streets were also paved and hope to continue to pave more streets in 2009. The City with the help of many residents also opened a new Clay Museum. Currently, the City is working on the start of the 2nd Street Storm Sewer revitalization and several other projects are being discussed.

The City Council and I continue to look to improve the quality of life for our citizens and visitors. We hope you enjoy visiting our community and wish everyone a happy and healthy 2009.
